To all the soldiers and policemen, to all politicians and government employees around the world, consider this a big no thanks for your service. Your paychecks all come from money stolen by force from your hard-working fellow countrymen and women! Your employer - your national government - is 100% funded by tax money, taxes which your populations are forced to pay under threat of kidnapping, imprisonment, and often murder. To be employed by an immoral and criminal organization, like a Statist government, is immoral and criminal. To receive stolen money and call it your salary, is immoral and criminal. I implore all government workers to leave your jobs and pursue an occupation with real integrity. Find a way to earn money without stealing from everyone! Get a job where customers pay you voluntarily. I know it's not as easy as just forcing people to pay your salaries, but it is the moral thing to do.
And to everyone else, let your soldiers, police, and politicians know, no thanks for your service, and no we don't support the troops! We don't support any occupation built on stolen money, much less an occupation built on the blood of millions of innocents. We send young men and women off to kill and be killed, maim and be maimed, all for the propagation of corporate imperialism and Statist hegemony. Then if and when they ever come home, demoralized and depressed, ridden with regret and post-traumatic stress, we herald them as heroes. But the truth is every time a soldier leaves his home country, he becomes a terrorist. If you're interested in defending your country and protecting your family for free, join a local militia. If you're interested in leaving your country to attack other people's families for money, join the national military. The former is respectable, the latter is irreputable.

I have always questioned the need to go to war and fight these 'so called enemies'. I have always thought that America has always allowed/encouraged other countries to create an environment where war is likely to happen, and when it does they go blazing in acting like the 'goodies'. Eventually they show the so called enemy they 'always needed American help', and so American dominance of Foreign lands is created AKA 'New World Order'.
IMO,it's all about America wanting world domination by clever war tactics, making the rich richer, and eliminating their poor populations in their own country( AKA their own soldiers), as well as their 'so called enemies' of distant foreign lands, that could never harm them.
The war never stopped, just changed tactics. War is just a racket, and Soldiers must wake up to the facts of the real reasons they are being sent to war.
Great point Anon, I absolutely agree, and so does General Smedley Butler:
War is a Racket
I'm currently in the Marine Corps. How do I quit my job without breaking my contract & going to jail? If there was a way, I'd do it, and so would many other active service members. I appreciate the gesture, but I'd appreciate it more if we were offered assistance to get out without legal recourse.
Just tell your commanding officer to go fuck themselves. That should do it.

Now if you really want to get anti-war and into human rights try Crass.
Hey Anon, great question. They hoodwink well-meaning young adults with promises that don't deliver while forcing them into iron-clad contracts. When I was 17, a recruiter was promising me that I could do Taekwondo for the Air Force, just sign on the dotted line! Sounded great until my dad and I pressed him on the issue and of course I have to do another military job first, join a bunch of tournaments, then if I win enough and I'm scouted by the A.F. team, then and only then could I "do Taekwondo for the Air Force." Just like politicians, military recruiters make any promise they need to to get their commission and fill their quota. As for how to break the contract without going to jail, I'm really not sure, but perhaps someone else can chime in to help? Good luck and thanks for the comment! Peace
I was enlisted in the army years ago. while in basic training i hurt my back and was sent to the medical holding unit. They took me into a little room with two captains and a drill sgt to ask me a few questions. one of the questions happened to be "do you still with to be in the military" i was like, awesome i have an option now!? i said "no". The captains looked dumbfounded and started scolding my drill sgt for letting me answer that way. After a minute of awkward argueing i actually interrupted them and stated that i was confused and wanted to be in the military. a few months later during christmas vacation we went on leave and i didnt come back. i turned myself into the authorities after 4 or 5 months of being awol, i was sent a plane ticket to kentucky to go to fort knox where i was discharged with no problems or issues. I had a complete change of heart and mind after my military experience, and that event i just mentioned was not even close to being one of my messed up experiences.
Hey Jason, interesting, thanks for sharing. So how is it you were able to breach your contract so simply? Couldn't they have jailed you if they'd so chosen? Glad you're out and safe... I'm curious about your "messed up experiences"
Granted I just googled it but...
under Article 43 of the UCMJ (uniform code of military justice) unless it is desertion during war time then there is no statue of limitation. You cannot be punished with an Article 15 more than 2 yrs post the event and you cannot be Court-Martialed more than 5 yrs unless you are charged with death.
but then again we have been 'at war' most of my life it seems. Not sure if a formal declaration is required, etc
Part of this article is sad and discusting. I look at the first picture and I think to myself..poor guy. As much as it is true that the reasons for war and what these soldiers think they are achieving is complete non-sense and false... But let's consider that guy who lost his legs. We don't know this guys story..maybe his life experience had led him to be innocent and unaware of the reasons behind war. Maybe in his head he was doing it for the "right" reasons..and he lost his legs!!! And this article just shits on him because of his unawakeness. Is that not as low and twisted as all the evil crap that happens around us? Again this is all hypothetical and I'm just assuming..but cmon! That's really low. Again, I agree with the points in this article about war itself, but to attack the controlled/brainwashed indiviaduals involed in this is low. Real low.
I'm not "attacking" the poor soldier that lost his legs, I'm writing bluntly and pointedly so that those who read this will be under no false impressions. I'm helping the next generation of would-be soldiers keep its legs by exposing the ancient, insidious lie that receiving stolen money to go kill people is "heroic."
What is not being taken into account in this post is the lack of economic opportunities for many low income minorities in America who really have no other viable choice than to join the military. Yes, they are a tool of global oppression, but if that's what it takes to provide the basic necessities for one's family in the face of rampant unemployment and a lack of education due to a failed public system, then that's what has to be done. I take issue with putting blame on the soldiers themselves rather than addressing the root causes as to why many join in the first place; which are the general failings of society. I could never ethnically and morally say "don't support the troops" because they are being manipulated to fight for unjust causes as much as the rest of us are to vote for leaders who drive us into the abyss
So, if you're a "low income minority" with a "lack of economic opportunities" you think taking stolen money to go kill people is an acceptable option? Many low income minorities with a lack of economic opportunities get into gangs, the mafia, and other organized crime; do you think that is a moral, acceptable option? And if not, why do you not support gangs and mafia, but you do support troops and government? The American Military is the biggest, most brutal mafia gang in the world, paying all its soldiers in stolen blood money. So in other words, you support organized crime, but only if it's really really well-organized, right?
Im so happy to find people that agree with me about not worshipping the troops or veterans. I told a guy his PTSD was caused from him making Earth worse. Sensitive folks they are.
